The piece includes a motorized screen which projects ghosts, witches and bats flying around inside the house which can be seen when looking thru the windows. Crows sit upon the roof-line and jack-o-lanterns in the windows. It has rickety looking doors and windows with cobwebs and the widow's walk has a white railing.

This "Black Roof" Haunted Mansion was introduced in 1998 and was retired in 1999. This was the first Halloween piece from Department 56 and wasn't expected to sell very well. As a result, they didn't make very many.

There were only 1,500 pieces made and due to it's fragile nature only a few undamaged remain today! CONTENTS:The lighted building is 8" x 7" x 11. The motorized ghost projector has an in-line on/off switch. The power adapter is included, an original Dept. Only opened to photograph & inspect, comes with original tag, adapter and packaging...

The sleeve has shelf-wear from being in storage! Pictures are part of the item description. THE PROJECTION SCREEN ROTATES JUST LIKE IT SHOULD!
