5.7 x 4.3 x 7.7 inches. One Christmas evening, a gathering of companions set off to appreciate a supper of festivity at a little nation hotel settled in a calm stream town.

As they adjusted a twist in the street, they saw the little, antiquated town enlivened for the occasions. The lights, similar to pixies, gleamed and shimmered in the midst of the crisply fallen snow.

All night, the discussion was brimming with Christmas recollections and the dreams the little town had evoked. In the midst of the affable talk and supernatural recollections, the thought for a lit Christmas town was conceived. That start of a thought turned into a reality when, in 1976, introduced a progression of six hand-painted, artistic structures. I gave this to my daughter to add to her collection of Northern Lights. She was ecstatic to receive it! I love the North Pole series from dept 56, and this is a great addition to my collection. The family that will receive this will be thrilled!
